FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: production of T-joints of products made of aluminium alloys with low weldability, for example high-strength alloys of the Al-Cu-Li system. A method is proposed for laser welding of T-joints of products made of aluminium alloys, including fixation of products, in which the end of one product is perpendicularly adjacent to the side surface of the other, and laser welding of the connection, while a plate of filler material containing transition and rare earth elements is placed between the products, wherein the plate has a width of 1.4-1.5δ and thickness 0.25-0.35δ, where δ is the thickness of the end of the product perpendicularly adjacent to the surface of another product. Subsequent welding is carried out with a moving laser beam directed to the area of contact of the products with the plate with simultaneous supply of shielding gas to the specified area.
EFFECT: improved quality and stability of formation of welded T-joints, simplified method for their production.
