FIELD: gas cleaning.

SUBSTANCE: method of adsorption of CO2 from atmospheric air using the technology of thermal regeneration of the sorbent is characterized by that an air flow is supplied inside the housing. Air flow is passed through filters with filler. Simultaneously, filters with fillers are washed with liquid CO2 adsorbent from top to bottom. Liquid CO2 adsorbent, falling on the surface of the fillers, flows into the lower part of the housing. Liquid CO2 adsorbent is delivered from the lower part of the housing to the upper part for repeated washing of the fillers. Liquid CO2 adsorbent is regenerated for a certain period of time by heating and holding the liquid CO2 adsorbent in a heated state. Carbon dioxide produced after regeneration of liquid adsorbent CO2 is removed. Purified air is passed through post-treatment filters. Fillers are made in the form of glass, ceramic, plastic or polyethylene balls. Air flow is passed through a pre-filter. Air flow is supplied inside the housing under pressure. Air flow is passed through filters with fillers in vertical and horizontal directions. Liquid CO2 adsorbent is regenerated in the lower part of the housing. Filters with fillers are continuously washed with liquid CO2 adsorbent.

EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of air cleaning, as well as reduced level of carbon dioxide (CO2) in air medium and reduced level of costs due to increased efficiency of use of liquid adsorbent CO2 and its thermal regeneration in a sealed housing.
