SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of creating a negative electrode for a more environmentally friendly method of producing a chemical current source of a new type, consisting of an active mass comprising copper powder of the “ПМС” grade (electrolytic powder), gel based on polyvinyl alcohol and sulphuric acid, which is applied by roller pressing on a current collector, made from various types of non-corrosive current-conducting material.

EFFECT: providing manufacturability and simplicity of the production process, production of a more environmentally friendly type of chemical current source.
