SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in treating corneal ulcer of Acanthamoeba aetiology in children. Method involves performing modified corneal crosslinking with ultraviolet radiation on the first day and on the ninth day of treatment. Starting from the second day of treatment, the following drugs are introduced through catheter for 7 days: Dexamethasone 0.4% by 0.3 ml 2 times a day and solution of Etamsylate 12.5% by 2 ml 2 times a day, as well as intramuscularly injecting a solution of Etamsylate 12.5% at dose of 2 ml 1 time a day, eye drops of Irifrin 2.5% are installed in conjunctival sac 2 drops once a day and Nevanac 0.1% by 1 drop 4 times a day, 1 strip of Corneregel ointment is placed in conjunctival cavity 2 times a day. Starting from the second day of treatment, local conservative treatment is carried out for 10 days: antibiotic therapy—eye drops Neomycin 1 drop 4 times a day; antiseptic therapy—aqueous solution of Chlorhexidine bigluconate 0.05% by 1 drop 1 time a day, Okomistin eye drops 1 drop 6 times day for 7 days; antiviral therapy—Acyclovir 200 mg, 2 tablets 4 times a day with meals; antifungal therapy—Voriconazole 200 mg 1 tablet once a day.

EFFECT: use of the invention enables to achieve an anti-Acanthamoeba effect, as well as the destruction of a wide range of microorganisms, preventing recurrences, reducing the number of complications, delaying the need for emergency keratoplasty.
