FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. First, micro-diathermocoagulation of the infiltration zone within the involved corneal layer. That is followed by corneal collagen cross-linking. Riboflavin instillations are alternated with the antibiotic or antiseptic and mycostatic agent. If a dense surface of the infiltrate is present before the micro- diathermocoagulation, a superficial keratectomy is performed.
EFFECT: method enables increasing rate of resorption and cleansing of ulcer from purulent content, preventing spreading of inflammatory process in depth and in area of cornea.
