FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for treating uveitis in children. That is ensured by inserting a Venflon peripheral intravenous catheter into the retrobulbar space, through which 0.4% dexamethasone solution is introduced in dosage 0.3 ml every 2 hours 6 times a day. Two hours after the introduction of dexamethasone, 12.5% ethamsylate solution is introduced through the catheter in dosage 0.3 ml every 3 hours 4 times a day. Ethamsylate 12.5% solution is injected intramuscularly in dosage 2 ml once a day. In conjunctival sac eye drops irifrin 2.5% 2 drops 1 time a day and nevanak 0.1% 1 drop 3 times a day are instilled for 7 days. In case of organic and pathological changes of retina, additionally, starting from the first day, retinalamine 5 mg preparation is introduced in dosage 0.3 ml once day for 7 days.
EFFECT: invention provides improved visual functions in the given category of children with minimization of emotional and mental stress in the child during the treatment period.
