Disclosed is a chromatographic analysis system based on a two-database architecture, which comprises a data collection unit, an analysis processing unit, a storage control unit and a client unit. Storage control unit includes a first database and a second database, the first database is used to store initial data and analysis data, and the second database is used to store method parameters of the analysis system and control data, and wherein a library of standard methods, a library of standard elements and a library of user methods is built into the second database. Methods of producing and analysing a chromatogram are also disclosed.
