FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal decomposition and pyrolysis of solid hydrocarbon wastes and can be used in industries where operations for processing said types of wastes are carried out. Before thermal decomposition, hydrocarbon wastes are mechanically crushed to crumbs with size of 0.5-6 mm and heated to temperature of 380-430 °C, and then subjected to thermal decomposition. Mechanical crumbling of hydrocarbon wastes is carried out in two stages; for this purpose, upper and lower thermal destruction chambers are used. In the upper chamber temperature is 680-720 °C, and in the lower chamber is 740-810 °C. Crumbs of hydrocarbon wastes are introduced into the upper cavity by means of centrifugal force, it is subjected to heating and mechanical grinding by means of its collision with the upper wall to obtain crushed crumbs, then it is removed from the upper cavity. Removed crumb is introduced into the lower cavity, it is subjected to additional mechanical grinding and heating directly in the lower cavity by means of its collision with the lower wall to obtain products of thermal destruction from the lower cavity. Thermal destruction of hydrocarbon wastes crumbs is carried out in carbon dioxide medium.
EFFECT: providing impact mechanical grinding of solid hydrocarbon wastes in two stages, directly in the thermal destruction chamber, increased time of thermal destruction.
