FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in aircraft and transport gas turbine engines and plants. Intermittent combustion engine comprises a cascade internal combustion pressure exchanger integrated into the engine in such a way that air is supplied to the low-pressure working medium supply port on one side of the rotor, and on the opposite side there is a low-pressure working medium discharge port, then, in the direction of rotation of the rotor, fuel supply ports and holes are made, in which spark plugs are installed, further, in the rotor rotation direction, high-pressure working medium discharge port is made, which is connected to the turbine; at that, several rows of channels are made in the rotor.
EFFECT: increasing power and efficiency of gas turbine engine, improving its environmental parameters and weight and size characteristics, simplifying the design, improving parameters of pressure exchangers.
