FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to chemistry, specifically to a method of producing a mixture of N,N-diethyl-2,6-dimethyl-2,7-octadiene amine, N,N-diethyl-3,6-dimethyl-2,7-octadiene amine, N,N-diethyl-2,7-dimethyl-2,7-octadiene amine and N,N-diethyl-3,7-dimethyl-2,7-octadiene amine, by telomerization of isoprene with diethylamine in the presence of a tetrafluoroborate catalyst (acetylacetonate-κ2-O,O)bis(triphenylphosphine)palladium of formula [Pd(acac)(PPh3)2]BF4 in methanol medium as an organic solvent. Method is characterized by the fact that water is added to the catalyst in molar ratio H2O:Pd equal to 10:1 to 160:1, reaction is carried out for 3 to 24 hours at temperature of 30–70 °C, at molar ratio isoprene : Pd equal to 800:1 to 3,200:1, and in molar ratio diethylamine : Pd equal to 775:1 to 1,550:1.
EFFECT: increasing output of target N,N-diethyl-dimethyloctadienylamines to 1,018–5,800 g per 1 g of palladium.
