FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, bariatric surgery, and can be used for surgical treatment of morbid obesity. Laparoscopic longitudinal gastrectomy is performed with preserving a pylorus. Serous-muscular layer of the cardia is dissected to the submucosa along the anterior wall of the stomach at distance of 5 cm from the oesophagogastric junction. Connective tissue fibres between the submucosal and muscular layers along the incision edges are dissected in depth by 2 cm. An anterior wall of the stomach located between the edges of the incision is immersed in the lumen of the stomach. Incision is closed with three endocorporeal sutures with 4/0 absorbable suture material. Surgical area is drained. Trocar wounds are closed in layers.
EFFECT: method is effective, enables to virtually eliminate the development of gastroesophageal reflux in the patients in the postoperative period by creating an antireflux valve within the cardia.
