FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for minimally invasive surgical management of pectus excavatum of the third degree in children of the first five years of life. Method involves minimally invasive surgical approaches in the area of xiphoid attachment to the body of the sternum and on the lateral surfaces of the chest at the level of the apex of the deformity with elevation of the sternocostal complex to achieve reposition of the pectus excavatum. Synthesis of the sternocostal complex is performed with elastic titanium rods (TEN), during which the elastic titanium rod is inserted longitudinally under the ventral cortical wall of the corrected sternum. In the zone of the apex of the chest deformation backwards from the longitudinally inserted into the body of the sternum, another elastic titanium rod is carried out through the sternocostal complex, ends of which are implanted into the bone canals of the rib at the level of the apex of the deformation of the chest on the right and on the left with the fixation of the anterior chest wall in the position of the restored retrosternal space.

EFFECT: method provides formation of stable-elastic fixation of the anterior chest wall with the restored retrosternal space in the deformation zone due to the fact that the used implants do not interfere with the growth of the chest skeleton.
