FIELD: chemistry; pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry and pharmacology, specifically to a method of producing an oxygen-containing derivative of 6-halogenquinoline of general formula I , (where Hal is selected from bromine, fluorine, chlorine; R1 is phenyl; R2 is a substitute -SC (S) X, wherein X is piperidinyl-; R3 is hydrogen), used to inhibit beta-coronavirus replication. Disclosed method involves modification of N-(2-benzoyl-4-halophenyl)-2-chloroacetamide by heterocyclisation under the action of a dithiocarbamate, followed by pouring the reaction mass into water and separating the reaction product by filtration and recrystallisation thereof from dioxane.
EFFECT: invention provides obtaining an oxygen-containing derivative of 6-halogenquinoline, characterized by high efficiency of inhibiting replication of beta-coronaviruses, including SARS-CoV-2, and reducing the time required for the synthesis process.
