FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, namely to coatings for planting and growing plants, and can be used for decorative landscape gardening, design in the field of flower and herbal compositions of surfaces, including for coating for roof, stylobates, slopes, gardens of minor maintenance, as well as for improvement of territories, reinforcement of slopes of earthen structures (roads, canals, embankments), reclamation of technogenically disturbed lands. Roll coating includes upper layer formed by above-ground part of plant material, lower layer formed by substrate and formed by root system of plant material, and reinforcing layer. Latter is a mesh or anti-erosion mat and is located between the upper and lower parts of the lower layer. Thickness of the upper part of the lower layer is from 10 to 40 mm, and the thickness of the lower part of the lower layer is from 10 to 20 mm. Layers are bonded by a formed root system of plant material, which is represented by perennial herbaceous plants.

EFFECT: invention, along with simplification and lightening of the roll coating design, its installation, allows increasing the roll coating strength, and maintaining its integrity during transportation and laying, as well as providing reduction of the required coating maintenance during its use due to reduction of the number of required weeding to 1-2 times a year.
