FIELD: medical science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dental compositions based on hydraulic cements. Disclosed is a dental cement for direct pulp capping, comprising portland cement, calcium sulphoaluminate 3(CaO⋅Al2O3)⋅CaSO4, meta-kaolin, zirconium dioxide ZrO2 and carboxymethyl cellulose in following ratio of components, wt.%: 5-10 calcium sulphoaluminate, 0.5-10 metakaolin, 10-15 zirconium dioxide, 0.1-1.0 carboxymethyl cellulose and portland cement is the rest.
EFFECT: designing the sealed material applicable as a therapeutic pulp coating in treating deep caries and pulpitis with improved characteristics, particularly high plasticity and strength, as well as short hardening time.
