SUBSTANCE: in certain embodiments, the ophthalmic lens comprises an optical portion having a front surface, a back surface and an optical axis. At least one of the front surfaces and the back surface comprises a first zone extending from the optical axis to the first radial boundary, and a second zone extending from the first radial boundary to the edge of the optical part. First zone comprises an inner section and an outer section separated by a phase-shifting element, wherein the phase-shifting element comprises a protrusion extending outward from the inner section and the outer section.
EFFECT: use of this invention will make it possible to improve lens correction, freedom of mechanical movement for increasing the comfort of lens wearing.
