FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a cassette for a peristaltic pump of an ophthalmic surgical system comprising a main part of the cassette and a flexible sheet. Main part of the cartridge has a front surface and a rear surface. Front surface of the main part of the cartridge comprises a fluid path for the main part of the cartridge. Fluid path of the main part of the cartridge contains openings, an active section of the fluid path of the main part of the cartridge and a portion of the fluid path transition of the main part of the cartridge between one of the openings and the active portion of the fluid path of the main part of the cartridge. Fluid path transition section of the main part of the cartridge contains a passage for fluid medium path of the main part of the cartridge, which is lowered relative to the active section of the fluid medium path of the main part of the cartridge. Flexible sheet is connected to the main part of the cassette. Flexible sheet comprises a sheet segment of a pump with a back surface containing a path for fluid medium of the sheet, and a front surface containing a surface of engagement with a roller. When the flexible sheet is connected to the main part of the cartridge, the fluid path of the sheet is connected to the fluid path of the main part of the cartridge to form a path for the pump fluid. Sheet segment of the pump comprises an active section of the sheet segment of the pump, which is located above the active section of the fluid path of the main part of the cartridge, and a transition section of the sheet segment of the pump, which is located above the transition section of the fluid path of the main part of the cartridge. Transition section of the sheet segment of the pump contains two protrusions on the front surface of the sheet segment of the pump, each of which has a maximum height in a position which is displaced from the central line of the passage channel for the fluid medium of the main part of the cassette. Transition section of the sheet segment of the pump contains a recess in a position above the central line of the passage channel for the fluid medium of the main part of the cartridge. One of the two projections is located on one side of the recess, and the other of the two projections is on the opposite side of the recess. Two protrusions of the pump sheet segment transition section merge into one protrusion in the active section of the pump sheet segment.

EFFECT: use of the invention allows reducing pulsation in the peristaltic pump.
