FIELD: transport engine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of transport engine building, in particular to devices for facilitating the start of a diesel engine at sub-zero temperatures of a cold climate. Disclosed is an electronically controlled diesel engine cold start device with a plasma-chemical converter, which increases efficiency of inlet air heater operation due to processing and expansion of component composition of final fuel products, as well as discrete fuel supply, depending on engine crankshaft rotation frequency, and contains a plasma-chemical converter installed in the inlet manifold, the fuel supply channel of which is connected to the electromagnetic fuel valve, connected through the low pressure line and the fine filters to the fuel feed pump, which through the coarse filter is connected to the fuel tank, the plasma chemical converter air supply union through the electric pneumatic valve is connected to the car air resistor, anode, cathode and spark plugs of the plasma-chemical converter are electrically connected to an electronic control unit connected through a switch to a storage battery, oil temperature, coolant temperature, fuel temperature, crankshaft speed sensors. Electronic control unit is also connected to the generator blocking relay, through the ignition key, to the starter relay, to the electric pneumatic valve and to the operation control lamp. Implementation of the invention into transport facilities will ensure reduction of time for thermal preparation and elimination of disturbances of working processes of the engine of low-temperature state.

EFFECT: reduced wear of engine due to increased reliability of start-up, reduced time of warm-up and reaching load modes.
