FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to plastic surgery and can be used for lower eyelid plastic surgery. Skin flap is marked under the eyelid outwards from the eye fissure; then, according to the markings, the skin is incised on the lower eyelid horizontally from an outer corner of the eye to the inner one, at least 1 cm. Incision is extended by no more than 1.5 cm in a projection of one of the crow's feet wrinkles outside the eyelid. Then, 2-cm-high skin area is resected, and a haemostasis of the surface of the formed wound is performed; the skin is detached downward over the fibres of the orbicular muscle of the eye and over the subcutaneous fat layer with the subcutaneous passage of the upper border of the malar bag; a line of orbitomalar skin ligaments is transected. Then the prepared skin is moved upwards and outwards. Then an interrupted suture is applied on the skin through fibres of a circular muscle of an eye with passage through an aponeurotic external canthal extension of an external angle of an eye. Then the skin incision is sutured with the prepared skin planar moving up and out in the area of the malar bag.

EFFECT: method enables achieving a high aesthetic effect and reducing injuries ensured by simultaneous elimination of malar deformation and prevention of deformation of the palpebral fissure.
