SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopaedic and surgical dentistry, and is intended for use in the conservative reduction of the anterior bilateral dislocation of the lower jaw of traumatic origin without displacement of the intra-articular disc, as well as for removal of contracture of masseter muscles with anterior bilateral dislocation of lower jaw. Patient is fixed in a lying or reclining position. Doctor stands behind the patient’s head, the patient’s head being at the level of the doctor’s umbilical cord. Doctor fixes the right and left thumbs on the alveolar process of the lower jaw of the patient in the left and right retromolar regions, respectively, and the index and middle fingers of both hands are fixed on the chin of the patient on the right and left sides, respectively, then with the fingers fixed on the chin of the patient, the doctor makes vertical movements of the lower jaw, namely, lowers the lower jaw towards the opening of the mouth, and then releases, while controlling the appearance of the movement of the lower jaw towards the closing of the mouth each time. After fixing the onset of the movement of the lower jaw towards the closing of the mouth, the doctor, without changing the position of the thumbs of both hands, presses the lower jaw backwards with the fingers fixing the chin part of the patient, while simultaneously performing the vertical movement of the lower jaw towards the closing of the mouth until the mouth is completely closed.

EFFECT: due to elimination of masticatory muscles injuries, method allows to increase physiologic and safety reduction of anterior bilateral dislocation of lower jaw.
