FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for mandibular anesthesia. That is ensured by determining the target point topography on the face skin of the outer surface of the lower jaw by palpation. Target point is located at the intersection of two conditional lines directed from the articular process to the retromolar fossa and from the top of the coronoid process to the border of the lower and middle one-third of the height of the posterior edge of the mandible. Target point is fixed with the forefinger of the left hand. Projection of the intersection point of two lines on the inner surface of the mandible branch is above the lower jaw tongue.
EFFECT: method provides effective anesthesia of the given area with simultaneous reduction of the probability of injuries of the mandibular neurovascular bundle, maxillary artery, as well as temporal and medial pterygoids.
