FIELD: fibre-optic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibre-optic equipment, namely to feedthrough devices for sealed input of optical fibre through a partition. Multichannel optical junction comprises a metal housing hermetically installed in the wall with a metal optical fibre holder tightly installed in it, which is made in the form of two cylindrical inserts equipped with several parallel holes for passage of metallized optical fibres. Fibres are tightly fixed in each insert by means of plastic metal solder. Each hole in the soldering point is made dumbbell-shaped, having a diameter in its narrow part, which is comparable to the diameter of the optical fibre. Inserts are pressed to the body from the side of fibre inlet and outlet by means of nuts. Inserts are secured by threaded posts to make a cavity there between.
EFFECT: providing multichannel transmission of a light signal while ensuring operational reliability and maintaining tightness of the junction.
