FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibre-optic equipment, in particular to methods of sealing optical fibres in a housing. Result is achieved due to that disclosed is a method of sealing optical fibres in a housing, which consists in placing at least one optical fibre in the closed cavity of the housing passing through it from the high pressure side to the low pressure side, having at least one section free from the outer coating, and the length of each optical fibre exceeding the inner length of the housing, characterized by that a conductive coating is applied on the portion of the optical fibre free from the outer coating by an ion-plasma method and the optical fibres are sealed by soldering.
EFFECT: high reliability of sealing optical fibres in the housing of the part.
