FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science, particularly to treating gastrointestinal diseases in calves. Method involves feeding with the preparations Dextranal-40 and Vetom 1, which are used in combination. Preparation Dextranal-40 is used in the form of a powder which is preliminarily stirred in warm boiled water in amount of 20 g per 1 l of water and fed to calves once every three days for 15 days in dose of 20 mg/kg of live weight. Preparation Vetom 1 is stirred in milk and fed to calves twice a day until the clinical signs of the disease disappear in dose of 50 mg/kg of live weight.
EFFECT: invention provides effective treatment of gastrointestinal diseases in calves.
