FIELD: automation of electric networks.
SUBSTANCE: setting the characteristic sequences of changing the values of parameters on the outputs of the electrical network objects for emergency situations of different types, setting which of the switching devices should be disconnected when one or another given sequence of changing the parameters is detected, values of parameters, sequence of their change in control points are monitored and compared with specified characteristic ones; when the monitored sequence coincides with one or another given characteristic one, corresponding switching devices are switched off.
EFFECT: protection of network sections from short-circuit currents, including those with low currents, as well as from wire breaks, increased reliability of power supply to consumers and electrical safety.
