SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for crushing plastic and metal containers and can be used to reduce volumes of wastes by preliminary crushing of empty containers of different size and configuration before placing it into a container. Manual crusher comprises a body having a rear wall and two side walls. In the front part of the body there is a cutout for placement of containers. Handle is pivotally connected to the side walls of the housing on its outer side. Stop is rigidly installed inside the housing in its upper part. In side walls of the housing opposite to each other there are guide vertical cutouts. Under the stop inside the housing there is a movable bowl made with possibility of vertical movement. Two rods pivotally connect the handle and the movable bowl on its sides, which contains upper and lower pairs of metal bushings made on its sides, which are located in guide cutouts and protruding outside the housing. Upper pair of metal bushings is made to connect movable bowl and tie-rods.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of container crushing, higher reliability and durability of the device in any weather conditions.
