FIELD: metallurgy of composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multilayer composite material for microwave electronics. Composite material is made in the form of a multilayer plate based on a sequence of interconnected metal layers. Sequence of metal layers contains N layers of copper with heat-conducting properties and (N-1) layers of molybdenum or tungsten with compensating properties at ratio of copper layer and tungsten or molybdenum layer thickness from 1:1 to 1:6. External metal layers of the plate are made of copper, and internal layers are made in the form of at least one direct sequence of tungsten-copper or molybdenum-copper layers. Each of copper and tungsten or molybdenum layers is made with porosity of not more than 0.1% and is located between each other in parallel in thickness and symmetrically relative to the plane of said multilayer plate.
EFFECT: higher relative density and tightness, reduced anisotropy of properties.
