FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing nanostructured ceramic materials based on compounds of rare-earth metals, specifically neodymium cobaltite, which can be used for production of electrode materials for galvanic cells with solid electrolyte, Peltier cooling devices, ceramic membranes for obtaining pure oxygen from air, catalysts. Method includes obtaining nanostructured neodymium cobaltite using ceramic technology, wherein production is carried out from hydrated neodymium carbonate Nd2(CO3)3·2.5H2O, characterized by an amount of energy corresponding to the surface of the coherent scattering regions of more than 80 kJ/mol, which is mixed with Co3O4 powder in a molar ratio of Nd:Co equal to 1:1, and pressed at pressure of 250 MPa, pelletized material is sintered at temperature of 890–910 °C in air for 4 hours, produced cake is ground to particle size of not more than 100 mcm and subjected to repeated pressing at pressure of 250 MPa and sintering of pelletized material at temperature of 890–910 °C in air for 4 hours.
EFFECT: obtaining nanostructured neodymium cobaltite by solid-phase synthesis using ceramic technology at a temperature of not more than 1,000 °C and reduced power consumption.
