FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of high-temperature thermoelectric material based on cobaltite calcium and can be used in the manufacture of thermoelectric power generation devices. Method includes obtaining an aqueous solution of cobalt and calcium nitrates, mixing, spraying the solution into an aerosol, passing the aerosol in an air stream through the reaction zone to obtain a powder, calcining, annealing and compacting the resulting powder. Pyrolysis of an aqueous solution aerosol from cobalt and calcium nitrates, obtained by spraying with an ultrasonic generator at 1.3–15 MHz, is conducted in an air flow in the reaction zone with temperature of 900–1,100 °C. Glowing is carried out at 250–350 °C, annealed at 800–900 °C for 2–4 hours, and compaction of the powder is carried out by spark plasma sintering at a pressure of 40–50 MPa, a temperature of 800–900°C and time 5–10 minutes.
EFFECT: thermoelectric material with a thermoelectric efficiency higher than 0,4 is obtained.
