SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a device for enlarging puncture access. Device for enlarging the puncture approach includes two handles and a two-piece sleeve consisting of two detachable parts and having a tapering end and an external screw thread. Two handles are connected by a cylindrical spring joint. Detachable parts of the two-piece sleeve are attached to the inner contour of the cylindrical spring joint. Cylindrical spring coupling is made with possibility of increasing the diameter when the handles are brought together to increase the diameter of the two-piece sleeve. One of the handles comprises a rack for fixing the two-piece sleeve in the opened position.

EFFECT: use of the invention allows providing timely replacement of drains of cavitary formations with drains, larger in diameter, and creation of conditions for transfistula retroperitoneoscopy, or abscessoscopy with instrumental sequestrectomy.
