SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a device for enlarging a surgical approach. Device for expansion of the surgical approach includes a two-part sleeve having a narrowing end and an external screw thread, an adjusting screw with a wing handle, a guide bracket, first and second plates. Two-part sleeve consists of two detachable parts. First plate is rigidly attached to one of the parts of the two-part sleeve and contains a hole for an adjusting screw and a bushing with a lock washer. Second plate is rigidly attached to the other part of the two-part sleeve and contains a hole for an adjusting screw and a hole for a guide bracket, which is rigidly fixed on the first plate. Adjusting screw is located in the hole for the adjusting screw of the first plate, the bushing with the lock washer and the hole for the adjusting screw of the second plate and is made with possibility of rotation by means of the wing handle to increase the diameter of the two-part sleeve.

EFFECT: use of the invention allows providing timely replacement of drains of cavities with drains larger in diameter and creating conditions for transfistula retroperitoneoscopy or abscessoscopy with instrumental sequestrectomy.
