METHOD OF SANITATION VIDEO ABSCESSOSCOPY IN INTEGRATED TREATMENT OF INTRA-ABDOMINAL ABSCESSES AND DEVICE FOR SANITATION VIDEO ABSCESSOSCOPY Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B1/313 A61B17/22 A61B17/28

Abstract RU 2824423 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used in a complex of minimally invasive methods of treating intra-abdominal abscesses (IAA) of various localization. Device for sanitation video abscessoscopy includes a sleeve with diameter of 15 mm, a hollow axis located in the sleeve and configured to insert an optical straight tube into it, a disc handle, disc stop, lever plank rigidly connected to disc stop, lever-hinged connection, clamping jaws and spring. Disc support is made with possibility of approaching disc handle for expansion of lever-hinge joint, due to tension of lever plank, leading to advancement with simultaneous closure of clamping jaws, as well as with possibility of displacement together with sleeve in distal direction along lever plank, due to spring, for folding of lever-hinged connection, leading to opening of clamping jaws. Method of sanitation video abscessoscopy in complex treatment of intra-abdominal abscesses involves puncture of pathological focus under ultrasound control with a needle located in it mandrin, removal of mandrin with introduction of dilator and drainage, conducting conductor through drainage, with removal of drainage. Conductor is inserted into the hollow axis located in the sleeve of the above device, and using the conductor as a guide, the above described device is introduced into the abscess cavity. After removing the conductor, an optical straight tube is inserted along the hollow axis, the abscess cavity is inspected, the disc handle is brought together with the disc support, wherein the lever-hinge joint is straightened by tension of the lever plank, and extension of the lever-hinge connection leads to the forward extension with simultaneous closure of the clamping jaws and the capture of the pathologically changed tissues. Further, by rotary and reciprocating movements of the whole device, the tissues are fragmented, after which the disc handle is released, which leads to folding of the lever-hinge joint, opening of the clamping jaws and their return to the initial position. Similarly, all areas of the irregularly thickened capsule are treated, the available sequestra are separated and fragmented.

EFFECT: result of the method of sanitation video abscessoscopy and device for its implementation is the possibility of application in sanitation video abscessoscopy in treatment of intra-abdominal abscesses with using one access point with possibility of visual control and adequate sanitation of pathological centre.
