FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiosurgery, and aims at replacing affected natural mitral valves in cardiac surgeries. Frameless mitral valve prosthesis includes a support ring, a locking element comprising an anterior and a posterior cusps, and a chordal apparatus. Support ring consists of two rings, semicircles of which occupy cusps sewn to them for fixation zone, wherein the free edge of the front flap is made with a central cutout and two symmetrical peripheral projections, and the free edge of the posterior cusp is made with a central projection and two symmetrical peripheral cutouts, the cusps are connected to a chordal apparatus consisting of four neochords. Neochords are drawn with a dotted suture from the rings of the support ring through the projections of the cusps, assembled into a bundle and lie in the port having a cuff for their fixation.

EFFECT: higher reliability and durability of the frameless prosthesis.
