SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol generation device. Aerosol generating device comprises a cartridge comprising a liquid storage chamber, a first heater for heating the liquid, a housing with a defined insertion space, a second heater for heating a stick inserted into the insertion space, memory for storing several liquid temperature profiles corresponding to the first heater and several stick temperature profiles corresponding to the second heater, and a controller. Controller is configured to: set the operating mode of the aerosol generating device, wherein a given operating mode is selected from a plurality of modes; determining the preset temperature for the first heater based on the liquid temperature profile corresponding to the preset operating mode, wherein the liquid temperature profile is selected from a plurality of liquid temperature profiles; determining the preset temperature for the second heater based on the temperature profile of the stick corresponding to the preset operating mode, wherein the stick temperature profile is selected from a plurality of stick temperature profiles, and wherein the plurality of modes includes two or more modes from a group, which includes the first mode corresponding to the liquid, the second mode corresponding to the stick and the liquid, and the third mode corresponding to the stick.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of independent heating of the stick and liquid in accordance with operating modes, thereby correspondingly adjusting the taste or aroma of the aerosol and the degree of spraying.
