FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to maxillofacial surgery. Preoperative venous blood is sampled and centrifuged. A-PRF and i-PRF are obtained. Oral cavity is treated with a water antiseptic solution. Oral mucosa is dissected in a projection of the fracture line. Mucoperiosteal flap is detached. Lower jaw is skeletonised and the fracture line is visualized. Osteosynthesis of the lower jaw is performed in the correct anatomical and physiological position with the help of titanium plates. A-PRF is laid intraoperatively between edges of bone fragments. Bone fragments are repositioned. A-PRF and i-PRF are laid over the fracture line. Operation is completed by closing the postoperative wound.
EFFECT: method enables reducing the probability of postoperative osteomyelitis and improving the qualitative characteristics of bone tissue within the fracture in the surgical management of traumatic comminuted fractures of the lower jaw.
