SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely surgery, and can be used in the treatment of chronic osteomyelitis of the maxillofacial region. Conservative treatment is carried out in the form of injection of somatotropic hormone into subcutaneous fat in a dose of 2.5 units in the morning on an empty stomach 1 hour before meals and in the evening 3 hours after the last meal. Treatment is continued until there are no radiological signs of destruction of bone structures. If sequestration is detected 3-4 months after the start of conservative therapy, surgical intervention is performed in the pathological zone against the background of ongoing therapy with somatotropic hormone.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of the treatment of chronic osteomyelitis of the maxillofacial region by accelerating the regeneration of directly deep sections of the affected soft tissues and bones inside the focus of inflammation, eliminating antibiotic resistance, reducing the volume of surgical intervention, eliminating relapses due to a combination of methods of the claimed invention.
