FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of finishing materials and can be used for protective and decorative coatings on the surface of building structures and elements of evacuation systems. Photoluminescent material contains 30–60 wt.% of liquid glass in the form of an aqueous solution of high-modulus potassium silicate with density of 1400 kg/m3 and silica modulus of 3.8, 5–20 wt.% of wollastonite with particle size of 3.5–13.5 mcm to increase water resistance and wear resistance of composite and 8–50 wt.% of water-resistant yellow-green afterglow phosphor with matrix of yttrium aluminate, activated by promethium.
EFFECT: high luminescence brightness, water resistance and wear resistance of the photoluminescent material.
