FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of construction materials and can be used for making articles, small architectural forms of any configuration and dimensions from decorative concrete, having glow properties during night time for the whole period of operation. Method involves preliminary preparation of a photoluminescent pigment powder, placing the concrete mixture into a mold, vibrating the mold with subsequent packing of the molded article in a waterproof material with holding for at least 24 hours in a mold until complete hardening of the article. Photoluminescent pigment is introduced into the concrete mixture at the dry mixing stage in the range of up to 10 % of the weight of the cement. At the stage of wet mixing a polycarboxylate type additive is introduced to produce a water-to-cement ratio not exceeding 0.45. Article is removed from the mold, after which the product is held for 96 hours under normal conditions of hardening. Then, the article is coated with an acryl-based impregnation.

EFFECT: high durability of article glow during night time during the whole service life without additional coating and without reduction of physical and mechanical properties of concrete.
