SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of information protection in mobile radiotelephone communication networks. For this purpose, during the mobile radiotelephone communication networks subscriber keys manufacturing, the subscriber key unique identifiers are made, and a plurality of pairs (subscriber key identifier, subscriber key) are generated, which is recorded for storage and use in a hardware security module located in the core of the network of the mobile radiotelephone communication service provider, and is also transmitted to the SIM card manufacturer or the chip initializer used in the production of SIM cards, which records the subscriber key into the protected memory area of each chip. In the memory area of each chip available for reading, the corresponding key identifier is recorded, which is subsequently extracted from the chip by the SIM card manufacturer, after which the SIM card manufacturer forms a plurality of pairs (international mobile subscriber identifier, subscriber key identifier), which is recorded for storage and use in communication means performing the functions of the reference location register and/or authentication center, located in the core of the network of the service operator and transmitting the subscriber key identifier instead of the subscriber key itself to the security hardware module, which implements the cryptographic authentication functions.
EFFECT: increased security of information due to additional introduction of a subscriber key identifier and its use instead of the subscriber key in separate elements of the process of producing SIM cards for mobile radiotelephone communication networks and when implementing procedures for authenticating and identifying subscribers.
