In the method of group control of lighting devices in an external lighting control system, comprising a control object and lighting devices as control objects, with the transmission of control commands along the power transmission line, the novelty is that control is carried out using a set of commands, differing by sequence of intervals of switching on and off of power supply line, transmitted in the daytime with storage of received commands in non-volatile memory of connected lighting devices, wherein time intervals for switching on and off are many times greater than the period of the network frequency.

EFFECT: high reliability of group control of lighting devices along a power transmission line.
