FIELD: devices for elimination of radioactive contamination.

SUBSTANCE: device can be used for decontamination of objects with surfaces of complex shape, formed as a result of accident of nuclear and radiation hazardous object. Device consists of a processing chamber with a sealed door, a supply-and-exhaust ventilation with an exhaust fan and a replaceable filter at the inlet of the exhaust channel, a laser with a photodetector and a focal distance control system. System of mirrors is located in the processing chamber. Manipulator and a rotary platform are installed in the chamber, which move the object into the zone of laser radiation.

EFFECT: invention enables to decontaminate objects with surfaces of complex shape with formation of a small amount of radioactive wastes.
