FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of steel tubular radiators by welding. Sections of radiators pressed to each other are arranged with coaxial arrangement of holes for passage of heat carrier and welding is performed in inner cavity of heads of sections. According to the first version, the laser welding head is turned around the axis of the coaxial holes for the heat carrier passage while maintaining a constant angle of inclination relative to this axis. Laser beam is directed and moved through opposite hole for passage of heat carrier along the annular section of the inner surface of the head of the sections of the tubular radiator, which is adjacent to the edge of the hole for the passage of the heat carrier. In compliance with second version, sections are connected by arc welding, note here that mating holes of sections have different diameters to make annular ledge along hole edge. Torch nozzle with welding wire is arranged inside head of section with larger hole diameter. Welding torch is moved along formed annular ledge to produce welded joint between walls of heads of sections of tubular radiator.
EFFECT: invention provides increased strength of radiator with exclusion of additional operations for processing of weld seam.
