FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: chain transmission consists of pulleys with detachable rings and housings; in grooves of pulleys there installed are fixed tires made of friction material, for example, reinforced rubber, and plate chain contacting with tires. Inner surfaces of the detachable ring, the pulley housing contacting with the tire are made inclined, in cross-section they represent lateral sides of an isosceles trapezoid.
EFFECT: higher reliability of chain transmission.
