FIELD: transportation; containers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to large-capacity containers for transportation of steel rolls in horizontal position, steel rolls in vertical position on pallets, sheet steel in packed bundles on pallets, cylindrical cargoes and other piece cargoes of general purpose. Container comprises a base, side, front and rear walls with end doors, a removable roof, four pairs of reinforced symmetrical lengthwise articulated frameless support lodgments and paired two-tier non-removable hinged-and-rotary longitudinal-transverse reinforced I-beams. Support lodgments consist of pivotally connected support and strut channels, capable of taking horizontal and inclined positions, opposite ends of hinged-and-rotary longitudinal-transverse beams are pivotally connected to cassettes, which are installed with possibility of longitudinal and transverse movement along paired two-tiered guide channels located on side walls of container, on upper and lower shelves of which there are coaxial holes. Hinged-and-rotary longitudinal-transverse beams are fixed in longitudinal and transverse positions at the required points of the guide channels by means of cylindrical and conical pins. On the detachable roof there are two rotating cranks designed to bring two pairs of reinforced brackets in the form of an equilateral trapezoid in its central part into a vertical-inclined position from the ground plane, which allows removing/installing the roof by a crane with a special bracket for loading rolls, without preliminary lifting of slingers-riggers. In order to prevent unauthorized removal of the roof from the container, an internal lock is installed on the roof, which consists of two internal locks equipped with special chain drives with adapter karabiners with threaded retainers and fastening mechanisms. On the outer sides of the transverse channels of the frame, color markings are applied in the form of two black strips, and on upper horizontal (longitudinal) channels in red color, places of brackets laying are marked, to which upper locks of roof are fixed, to provide for convenience of correct orientation of roof by crane operator, at its installation into initial position.
EFFECT: reliable contact fastening (fixation) of coiled steel during transportation, both in horizontal and vertical positions, providing for required safety margin of parts and uniform distribution of loads arising from action of transported cargo.
