FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, in particular to development of minerals by open method, and can be used in development of coal deposits. Method includes development of initial reservoir to final depth of deposit development, placement of overburden rocks from initial reservoir into external dump, placement of overburden rocks during development of remaining part of open-pit field into internal dump according to non-transport technology. Formation of the initial reservoir is carried out on the basis of previously calculated reservoir parameters, such as depth, which takes into account the entire depth of the formation for maximum extraction of minerals, width at the top, equal to the width of the quarry field, and the length along the bottom, which is determined by the capacity of the amount of overburden rock, which is placed from the bottomhole side of the open-pit field and is mined by one overburden dragline successively from top to bottom with the rock discharge into the internal non-transport dump. Second dump dragline is used to transfer rock into an internal non-transport dump.

EFFECT: increased share of non-transport technology, reduced volumes of secondary transfer of overburden rock and simplified organization of operation of overburden and dump draglines.
