FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, namely to a method for manufacturing a metal truss with a curved belt. Method for manufacturing a metal truss consisting of an upper belt, a curved lower belt and braces, consists in the fact that during manufacture of the lower belt it is given the necessary curvature by means of preliminary bending to the working load in the plane and the direction of the working curvature to the design geometry beyond the elasticity limits in the area of plastic deformations, wherein residual undesirable stresses from rolling, bending or welding are removed in it. Then it is unloaded and fixed, after which the remaining elements of the truss are additionally made, and the positive (required) residual stresses already preserved in the lower belt are used as an additional reserve of stresses during repeated working loading with payloads. Required curvilinearity of the lower belt is provided by its fixation during preliminary loading and unloading, as well as by the law of distribution of loads along the length of the lower belt and by the methods of fixation of braces.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability of the structure.
