FIELD: weapons.

SUBSTANCE: flame arrester comprises a cylindrical metal housing, on the front part of which there is a cover with a thread with bleed holes along the edge of the cover and a hole in the centre. On the opposite part of the housing there is a plug with a ratchet made at an angle. In the housing there is a metal insert, which consists of eight rings with through holes, between which there are seven bushings welded to the rings, which forms fifteen combustion chambers, wherein seven rings are identical in thickness while eighth ring has increased thickness. Four pins are uniformly welded to the eighth ring and arranged between the holes and forming the first chamber.

EFFECT: reduced flash, simplified cleaning and installation of flame arrester on gun barrel.
