FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, namely to diffractometric devices for measuring refraction index of liquids which transmit optical radiation by optical methods. Diffractometric device consists of a laser radiation source, a focusing lens, a reservoir, which is made with a base and side walls, a substrate on which a diffraction element is made, as well as a recording unit and a processing and control unit, which are located outside the reservoir, the reservoir base is made in the form of a plane and is additionally equipped with a transmission window, the side walls of the reservoir are made in the form of a spherical belt with possibility of optical radiation scattering. Diffraction element is made in the form of a sectoral diffraction element, which consists of four quadrants, each of which is made in the form of a diffraction grating, wherein the period and orientation angle of the structure of each of the four diffraction gratings that make up the sectoral diffraction element. Sectoral diffraction element is located above the transmission window on the axis of symmetry of the reservoir, in the centre of the plane of the base of the reservoir with the possibility of incidence of diffracted radiation on the spherical belt of the reservoir at a right angle to the tangent plane to the spherical belt at the point of incidence of the diffracted radiation, and the recording unit is made with a projection lens.
