FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device for controlling an angular position of the diffraction orders of the diffractive element consists of a coordinate table, an optically coupled scattering screen with a transmissive window, a controlled diffractive element located between the coordinate table and the scattering screen, a radiation source, a focusing lens, a camcorder, a processing and controlling unit. The scattering screen is made in the form of an aspheric meniscus or a fibre optic element. The camcorder is installed along the axis connecting the center of the scattering screen and the focus area of the radiation.
EFFECT: increasing the speed and accuracy of control over a wide range of angular position of diffraction orders, simplifying the design.
