FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, neurology and rehabilitation, to restorative treatment in the areas of mechanotherapy, physiotherapy, orthopaedic care and therapy with application of biological feedback of patients suffering stroke. Disclosed is a method in which by training a paretic limb and presenting a patient with virtual reality clips stimulating the imagination of a paretic limb movement, and the patient’s movement imagination control, based on the analysis of the electrophysiological signal patterns controlling the motor activity of the paretic limb, the virtual reality clips content adaptation to the specific patient is carried out by assessing the clip rating, by analysing the motor and electrodermal responses of the patient to the presented virtual reality clip. After determining the rating of all clips, a rating threshold value is established and clips whose rating is less than the threshold value are removed from the content of virtual reality clips. In order to increase statistical significance of the calculated rating, it is calculated many times for each clip.
EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of rehabilitation patients after stroke.
